An AMAZING 7th place for Josh

After what was an incident packed race, including a 1st corner pile up taking out 4 riders, Josh battled all race with Nakasuga, and eventally picked off some seasoned verterans when spots of rain started to drop.  At the end finishing 7th, a brilliant finish to the weekend. Well done Josh were all real proud of you.

Josh fastest in morning warm up

Josh was fastest in warm up this morning, what can be said - quick learner. Team members looked very impressed on TV. Conditions are overcast with rain in the air. The race is now going to be interesting as Josh gets even more accustomed to the Yamaha M1, who knows what can happen !

Josh Hayes final qualifying

Josh finally gets to try out the much vaunted Carbon Brakes in the 1st real dry session he has had on a MotoGP bike today. Again trying to adapt to the full prototype chassis - this time in the dry and with the added pressure of trying to secure a good grid position for tomorrows race, Josh consistently made great progress improving his lap times, and was lapping with the Yamaha Full Factory test rider Nakasuga who has vastly more experience of the Yamha M1 bike. Tomorrow with more experience of the bike and the rush of racing the best riders in the world, Josh we're sure will achieve great things for both himself and Teknic !

Josh Hayes 10th in 2nd wet qualifying

Josh impressed the MOTOGP paddock and hardened commentators today with his 10th place in 2nd qualifying. With conditions cool and wet, Josh stayed out the whole 60mins only comming in once to better understand the full prototype bike chassis, made doubly difficult due to the rain. At a midpoint through the session he was up to 5th, and consistently in the top 8 till the dying moments of the session, where he eventaully ended up 10th. What a great result for Josh & Teknic garnering much TV and Internet coverage. More news as it happens.
